We’re sure that all attendees can relate when we say it took a while to gather ourselves post Brewcon19. The Independent Brewer’s Association put on another fantastic event this year, providing an impressive array of resources to equip and develop the industry and those who work within it.
Showcasing Australia’s best Independent beer, the Indies was nothing short of spectacular and full of surprises. Dainton Brewery took home Champion Australian Indie Beer with their Triple Dry Hopped Double Red Eye Rye as well as a new fiancé. Fixation and 3 Ravens were awarded Champion large and small/medium brewery respectively, while the legends at Modus Operandi took home the best IPA for their Former Tenant Red IPA (the most important award in our opinion).

Thanks to everyone who visited the Hopco stall at Brewcon19. Because of eight Australian breweries, nine new and upcoming hops, the Independent Brewers association and YOU, we were able to polish off eighty four cartons of indie beer. Yes, you read that correctly: EIGHTY FOUR CARTONS!
